the area of the equilateral triangle will be equal to root 3 by 4 into 144 that equals to 36 root 3 by 5 and when we divide 36 root 3 by 5 / 5 we get an answer

JOELWILSON2004: how does the equilateral triangle be equal to 3 by4 into 144
odi: bcoz it is,, root 3 by 4 into side square
JOELWILSON2004: ok into144 why
odi: bcoz side is 12 so square of 12 is 144 I guess
JOELWILSON2004: do u know hw to do this in herons formula
odi: I ve just checked from herons formula also area is 36 root 3

Area of an equilateral triangle is √3/4 x S^2
 =  √3/4 x (12)^2
 = √3/4 x 144 (144 cancels with 4, 36 times)
 = √3 x 36
 = 36√3 m^2

Cost of levelling = (5 x 36√3)rupees
                          = 180√3 rupees
