Find the cost of painting 25 cylindrical pillars of height 3.5 m at 45 per square metre if the
diameter of each pillar is 0.7 m.​

height of cylinder (h) = 3.5 m

Total surface area of  one cylinder =  2\pi r(h+r)

                                                           = 2*22/7 *0.7(3.5 + 0.7)

                                                           = 3.43 sq. meter

Total surface area of  25 cylinder =  25 * 3.43 = 85.75

Cost of painting of 1 square meter = 45 rupee

So Total cost of painting = 45 *85.75 = 3858.75 rupees

Note: Assuming 45 rupees. If it is in paise then please divide it by 100 to get your answer in rupees.
