Heya,

Given:-
Length = 3m
Breadth = 2m
Height = 1.5m
Cost of painting = Rs.20/m^2

To find:-
Cost of painting the tank

Solution:-

TSA (Total surface area) = 2 (lb + bh + lh)
TSA (Total surface area) = 2 × [(3)(2) + (2)(1.5) + (3)+(1.5)
TSA (Total surface area) = 2 × (6 + 3 + 4.5)
TSA (Total surface area) = 2 × 13.5
TSA (Total surface area) = 27m^2

Cost of painting = TSA × 20
Cost of painting = 27 × 20
Cost of painting = Rs.540

Hope my answer helps you :)

Regards,
Shobana
