Area of the circular table top=πr^2
=22/7*0.8*0.8
=2.01m^2.

So,Cost=Area/Rate
Cost=2.01/15
=Rs 0.134.

Given that :-

1. The cost of polishing a circular teble top of diameter is 1.6m .

2. Rate of polishing per meter square is Rs.15

To find :-

1. Cost of polishing .

Diameter = 1.6

R = D/2

= 1.6/2 = 0.8

Area of circle = \pi × R^2

3.14 × 0.64 = 2.0096 m^2.

\boxed{Now,}

Rate of polishing per meter square is rs. 15

15 × 2.0096 = 30.14m^2

So, the cost of polishing a circular table top of diameter 1.6m , if the rate of polishing is Rs .15per meter sqare is 30.14m^2.
