The curved surface area of the frustum is 2206.2 m²

Height of the cone = 24 m (Given)

Let the larger radius be = R

Let the smaller radius be = r

Diameter = R = 20/2 = 10 m

Diameter = r = 6/2 = 3 m

Slant height of the frustum cone = √(h² + (R - r)²)

= √(24² + (10 - 3)²)

= √(24² + (7)²)

= √ 576 + 49

= √ 576 + 49

= √ 625

= 25 m.

Now, Curved surface area of frustum

= π(R + r)l

= 22/7 × ( 20 + 6 ) × 27

= 22/7 × 26 × 27

= 2206.2 m²
