applying kvl

first in loop ABCDE

−3i−6(i−i 1) + 4.5=0 . -------(1)

then in loop ABCMNE

−3i−10i 1 −3+4.5=0 . --------(2)

From equation (1) and (2) WE GET,

i 1 =0

hence current passing through 10 ohm resistor is ZERO
