Answer:

The current through 4 ohms depends entirely on the applied voltage. If it was 4 volts the current ( ohms law) I = V/R = 4 V / 4 Ohms = 1 amp. If the volts is 12 v then I = 12 / 4 = 3 amps.

hence , R1 + R2+R3

2+4+3 = 9 ohm

Current through 4 ohm resistor:-

By ohm's law

V = IR

I = V/R

I = 10/4

I = 5/2

I = 2.5 A
