Curved surface area =pie ×r×l
l=root under (h^2+r^2)
l=25
CSA= pie ×r×l
=22/7×7×25
=550cm^2 ans.

Height of cone , h = 24 cm

To calculate Curved surface area of Cone

We need to calculate slant height (l)

Using relation between l , r and h

 {l}^{2} = {r}^{2} + {h}^{2} \\ \\ {l}^{2} = {7}^{2} + {24}^{2} \\ \\ {l}^{2} = 49 + 576 \\ \\ {l}^{2} = 625 \\ \\ l = \sqrt{625} \\ \\ l = 25 \: cm

Now,
Curved surface area of Cone

 = \pi rl \\ \\ = \frac{22}{7} \times 7 \times 25 \\ \\ = 22 \times 25 \\ \\ = 550 \: cm {}^{2}

HENCE,

The Curved surface area of Given Cone is 550 cm²
