 \huge \fbox \blue{Given:}

Slant height of a right circular cone = 10 cm

Radius of a right circular cone = 7 cm

 \huge \fbox \blue{To \; Find :}

Curved Surface area of right circular cone

 \huge \fbox \blue{Solution:}

➙ As we know that ,

Curved Surface area of a right circular cone = πrl

Where ,

r = radius

l = slant height

➙ Let's solve now !

\sf \implies \dfrac{22}{7} \times 7\;cm \times 10 \; cm

\sf \implies 22 \times 10 \;

\sf \implies 220 \; cm^{2}

∴ Curved Surface area is 220 cm²

 \huge \fbox \blue{More\; about \;cone:}

❶ Volume of a cone =  ⅓ πr²h

❷ Total Surface of a cone = πrl + πr²

❸ Slant height of a cone = √( r² + h² )

Given:-

Slant height of the cone is 10cm.

Radius of the cone is 7cm

To Find:-

Find the Curved Surface Area of the cone.

Concept:-

Firstly, let's go through the concept. Concept used here is Curved Surface Area (CSA) of a Cylinder.Substitute the given values in the equation and solve it.Lets do it.

Formulae Applied:-

Curved Surface Area of a Cone = πrl

Solution:-

Given that!

Slant height of the cone = 10cm

Radius of the cone = 7cm

CSA = ??

According to the question we have!

Curved Surface Area (CSA) of a cone = πrl

➝ πrl

➝ 22/7 × 10 × 7

➝ 22 × 10

➝ 220

220cm^2

Hence,

The Curved Surface Area of the cone is 220cm^2.
