perimeter of base = circumference of base= 88 cm

2 \pi r = 88\\\\2\times \frac{22}{7}\times r = 88\\\\r= \frac{88\times 7}{2\times 22}  \\\\r = 14 cm

radius of the base = 14 cm

height of the cylinder = 10 cm

then curved surface area of the cylinder = 2\pi rh

= 2\times \frac{22}{7}\times 14 \times 10

= 22×4×10

= 88×10

= 880 cm ²

hence , curved  surface of the cylinder is 880 cm ²
