1/7= 0.14 ( approx)

2 x 1/7= 0.28

5 x 1/7= 0.7

these are approximate values.

AdityaSingh111111111: 1/7 answer is 0.142857 and 2/7 answer is 0.285714 and 5/7 answer is 0.714285........

1/7=0.143, 2/7=0.286 & 5/7=0.715

Step-by-step explanation:

First, we have to find the decimal representation of  \dfrac{1}{7}.

The decimal representation of \frac{1}{7} can be found on dividing 1 by 7.

1 \div 7 = 0.143\\\Rightarrow \frac{1}{7} = 0.143 (approximately)

Now, we can find out the values or the decimal representations of \dfrac{2}{7} \ \& \ \dfrac{5}{7}  as well using the value of \dfrac{1}{7} .

Since,

\dfrac{2}{7} = 2 \times \dfrac{1}{7}

So, it can also be written as:

\frac{2}{7} = 2 \times 0.143 = 0.286

And also,

 \dfrac{5}{7} = 5 \times \dfrac{1}{7}

So, we can write,

\frac{5}{7} = 5 \times 0.143 = 0.715

Thus,

and  \frac{1}{7} = 0.143\\ \\\frac{2}{7} =0.286\\ \\  \frac{5}{7}=0.715

are the required approximate decimal representations of the given question.
