find the degree of each of the polynomials given below


x5 - x4 + 3

Answer:

We know that the  degree is the value of the greatest exponent of  expression (except the constant ) in the polynomial. To find the degree all that you have to do is find the largest exponent in the polynomial.

In polynomial x5 −x4 +3

The  value of the largest exponent  is 5 since the first term is largest exponent

Then degree is 5
