GIVEN:

  • Mass of an object = 90 kg
  • Length = 5 m
  • Breadth = 2 m
  • Height = 3 m

TO FIND:

  • What is the density of the object ?

SOLUTION:

Let the Density of the object be 'D' kg/

Firstly, we have to find the volume of the object

We know that the formula for finding the volume of an object is:-

\large{\boxed{\bf{\star \: Volume = L \times B \times H \: \star}}}

According to question:-

On putting the given values in the formula, we get

\rm{\hookrightarrow Volume = 5 \times 2 \times 3 }

\bf{\checkmark Volume = 30 \: m^3  }

Now,

We have to find the Density of an object

We know that the formula for finding the Density of an object is:-

\large{\boxed{\bf{\star \: Density = \dfrac{Mass}{Volume}  \: \star}}}

According to question:-

On putting the given values in the formula, we get

\rm{\hookrightarrow D = \cancel\dfrac{90}{30} }

\bf{\checkmark D = 3 \: kg/m^3 }

  • Density = D = 3 kg/

Hence, the Density of an object is 3 kg/
