Find the diagonal of the rectangle whose sides are in the ratio 4:3 .the area of the rectangle is 48 m

Answer:

let length= 4x

. breadth=3x

Area=48

4x*3x=48

12x^2=48

x^2=48/12

x=2

Now length=4*2=8m

. breadth=3*2=6m

(diagonal)^2=(8)^2+(6)^2

diagonal =10m
