Answer:

You wouldn't realise how hard it is to calculate this. Seriously, it takes time.

Okay, so I'd you're on a phone, open your calculator app, and type in what I write below.

20

Oh, I'm sweating already. This is tough!

∗1/3

Agh. Finally. Oh wait, there's more.

=

Done! You should see something like this.

6.6666666666666

Worth the effort? Your call.

Okay. Serious now. If you didn't realise, that was sarcasm, except for the math.

You are asking to effectually divide 20 by 3. Why?

20×1/3=(20×1)/3=20/3

One doesn't usually write this out, it's just known.

Now, how do we divide 20 by 3? It doesn't come in the table of 3. But 18 does. So now, we are left with:

20/3=(18+2)/3=18/3+2/3=6+2/3

Try using long division (I know, on a paper. Outdated, right?) to find 2/3. You will get 0.6666 that just keeps on continuing. This means that you have infinite sixes after the decimal. Say it as “zero point six bar”. You should write it with an actual bar above the first 6, which signifies that whatever it below the bar repeats again and again till infinity. Don't write all the sixes after the first.

So, getting on.

6+2/3=6+0.6=6.6

(I dunno how to type the bar, so bear with me)

There you go, answer found? Wasn't too tough was it?

Next time, just find a calculator
