Mode is the maximum repeating one

9 ( repeating for times)

Median : (Mid Value)

To find arrange all the numbers in increasing order

2,3,3,4,4,4,5,5,6,6,6,7,7,7,9,9,9,9,10,10

Since the total numbers are 20

Mid value will be ((n/2) + ((n/2)+1))/2

i.e., (10 th term+ 11 th term )/2

= (6+6)/2

=6

so Median = 6

Difference between Median and mode is

9-6

=3

First, we arrange the following data in acsending order.

So, The data is
2,3,3,4,4,4,5,5,6,6,6,7,7,7,9,9,9,9,10,10.

No. of observations =20

median = mean \: of \: {10}^{th} and \: {11}^{th} observation
 = \frac{6 + 6}{2} \\ = \frac{12}{2} \\ = 6

Mode= 9 (as it occurs the maximum times)

The difference
=9-6
=3
