\textsf{\underline{\underline{FACE\:VALUE}}}

➠Face value is the value which is same as the number. This face value will never change and the face value of a number is always equal to the given number. We can know in the following way:-

➠EXAMPLE:- 5

There is no other number thus , the face value is that number , even though if there are 2 digits , the face value always remains the same.

➠FACE VALUE OF 5 IS 5

\textsf{\underline{\underline{PLACE\: VALUE}}}

Place value of the number depends upon the position of the digit in a number. This place isn't same as the given number and the place value can be know in the following way:-

➠For example take 1234

In this number , coming from the right side , 4 is the 1st number and it's place value is 10. 3 is the 2nd number which has place value as 100 and 2's place value is 1000 and 1's place value is 10000.
