Find the difference between the largest number of four digits and smallest number of six digits.​

I have no clue, as to why this question was posted but, the largest 4 digit number is: L=9999=9000+900+90+9, and the smallest 6 digit number is: S=100000= 90000+(9000+900+90+9)+1=90001+L. The difference is 90001
