Given :

5/6−4/9

(Refer image)

LCM of 6 and 9 =(3×3×2)=18

Now, 5/6=(5×3)/(6×3)=15/18

4/9=(4×2)/(9×2)=8/18

∴5/6−4/9=15/18−8/18

=(15−8)/18

=7/18

Hence, 5/6−4/9=7/18

 \huge \mathfrak \red{Answer :}

It is given to find the difference between \sf \frac{5}{6} and \sf \frac{4}{9}.

This means we have to implement subtraction between both of them.

Here,

 \sf \:  \frac{5}{6}  -  \frac{4}{9}  \\

 \sf =  \frac{10 - 12}{3}  \\

 \sf \:  =  \frac{ - 2}{3}  \\

Thus,

The difference is  \sf \frac{-2}{3}
