Hey, sup!
Let the width be x metre.
So length=x+4 metre.
Perimeter=72m
As per the question,
Perimeter= 2(length + width).
=> 72 =2(x+4+x).
=> 72= 2(2x+4)
=>72/2=2x+4.
=>2x+4=36.
=>2x=36-4.
=>2x=32.
=>x=32/2.
=>x=16.
So the width= x = 16m.
And length=x+4= 16+4=20m.
Hope it helps.
