Given:

A current wire and a circular loop are in same plane.

To Find:

Find The direction of induced current in circular loop if current wire and loop are in same plane.

Solution:

since, we know that -

According to Lenz law , the direction of induced current is such that it opposes the change of flux.

here, it is given that a current wire is kept in right side of a circular loop in a same plane. Therefore, the magnetic field induced due to current i , into the plane on the left side of the wire.

So, as we move towards west, flux will decreases and circuit will flow anticlockwise.

Hence, a anticlockwise current is induced in the loop when loop is pulled toward west.
