Given :

  • Discount% = 15%
  • Marked Price = Rs 720

 \\

To Find :

  • Discount

 \\

Solution :

✰ As we know that, Discount% is given by D% = D/M.P × 100 where D and M.P stands for Discount and Marked Price respectively. Now in this question, Discount% and Marked Price are given, so Simply we will substitute the given values in the formulas to find the Discount.

⠀⠀⠀

⟼ Discount% = Discount/M.P × 100

⟼ 15 = Discount/720 × 100

⟼ 15 = Discount/72 × 10

⟼ 15 × 72 = Discount × 10

⟼ 1080 = Discount × 10

⟼ 1080/10 = Discount

108 = Discount

⠀⠀⠀

Thus Discount is Rs 108
