Hey there!!
We have ,
2x^2-4x +2 =0
Where a = 2 b = -4 c = 3
D = 0 [ as the f(x) =0)]
=> b^2-4ac = 0
=> -4^2 -4 × 2× 3=0
=> 16 -24 =0
=> -8 which is not equal to 0
Hence it will not have real and equal roots
Hope this helps u!!
