Actually this topic deals with the kinematics and motion in 1D......
Basically if we understand easily then distance is the total path travelled by the particle and the displacement is the shortest possible diatance travelled by the particle from the initial to the final position....

So here according to the question....
THE DISTANCE TRAVELLED IS 160 units.....
and

THE DISPLACEMET TRAVELLED IS 60 units....
