 \bull \boldsymbol{ \underline{ \green{Formula  \:  \: Used:-}}}

 \bf \huge  \red{\: d \:  =  \sqrt{ {(x_2 - x_1)}^{2} +  {(y_2 - y_ -1)}^{2}  }}

Here,

(a,3b)(-a,-3b)

 \bf \bull \: x_1 = a

\bf \bull \: y_1=3b

\bf \bull \: x_2 = - a

\bf \bull \: y_ 2= - 3b

Answer :

 \longmapsto \pink {d \:  =  \sqrt{ {( - a - a)}^{2}  +  {(3b - 3b)}^{2} } }

 \longmapsto \pink {d \:  =  \sqrt{ {( - 2a)}^{2}  +  {( - 6b)}^{2} } }

 \longmapsto \pink {d \:  =  \sqrt{ {4a}^{2} + 3 {6b}^{2}  } }
