ɢɪᴠᴇɴ :

Two points p (0,-10) and Q (-10,0)

ᴛᴏ ꜰɪɴᴅ :

Distance between p & Q.

ꜱᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ:

By using Distance formula,

Distance = √[(x2 - x1)²+ (y2 - y1)²]

Substituting value of x1= 0, x2=-10, y1= -10 and y2= 0 from the given data.

pQ = √[(-10- 0)²+ (0 - ( - 10))²]

= √[(- 10)² + (10)²]

= √(100+100)

= √200

= √(2×100)

= √2× √100

We know that, √100= 10.

= 10√2

So, pQ = 10√2 units
