distance between them

=AB

 =  \sqrt{ { (- 6 + 1)}^{2} + (7 + 5 {)}^{2}  }

 =  \sqrt{ {( - 5)}^{2} +  {12}^{2}  }

 =  \sqrt{25 + 144}

 =  \sqrt{169}

 = 13 \: unit

so, the required distance between the points is

13 unit...
