Given point are

 \sf \to(3,4) \: and \: ( - 7,2)

To Find the distance between point

Forward

  \to\sf \: D =  \sqrt{(x_{2} - x_1)^{2}  + (y_2 - y_1)^{2} }

We Have

\sf \to(x_1 = 3,y_1 = 4) \: and \: ( x_2 = - 7,y_2 = 2)

Now Put the Value

 \to \sf \: D =  \sqrt{( - 7 - 3)^{2}  + (2  - 4)^{2} }

 \to \sf \: D =  \sqrt{( - 10)^{2}  + ( - 2)^{2} }

 \to \sf \: D =  \sqrt{100 + 4}

 \to \sf \: D =  \sqrt{104}  \: sq \: unit

So the distance between point are √(104)sq unit

Some formula

Distance Formula

 \to\sf \: D =  \sqrt{(x_{2} - x_1)^{2}  + (y_2 - y_1)^{2} }

Section Formula

 \sf \to \:  \bigg( \dfrac{x _{2}m +x_1n }{m + n}  , \dfrac{y_2m + y_1n}{m + n}  \bigg)

Mid Point

 \sf \to \:  \bigg( \dfrac{x _{2} +x_1 }{2}  , \dfrac{y_2 + y_1}{2}  \bigg)

Answer:

1 by distance formula

2 (3-(-7) + (4-2) is in square

(10)+(2) square

the square of 10 is 100

the square of 2 is 4

100+4=104 in root
