The distance between A (x1, y1) & B (x2, y2) is :-

\sqrt{(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2}

Implies that the distance between A (3.5,6.8) & B (1.5,2.8) is :-

\sqrt{(3.5-1.5)^2+(6.8-2.8)^2}\\\\= \sqrt{(2)^2+(4)^2}\\\\\\\sqrt{4+16}\\\\= \sqrt{20}\\\\= 2\sqrt{5}
