Area of parallelogram = 1/2 *base *height
75 = 1/2 * 12.5 * height
150 = 12.5* height
Height. = 150/12.5
= 1500/125
= 12 cm

The distance between the two parallel lines is the height of the parallelogram in the calculation of the area of parallelogram.

Area of a parallelogram = base x height

Find the height:

Given area = 75cm² and base = 12.5 cm

75 = 12.5 x height

height = 75 ÷ 12.5

height = 6 cm

Answer: The distance between the two parallel lines is 6 cm
