➡ We know that distance from origin is :-

 \sqrt{ {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2} }

➡ Therefore :-

 =  \sqrt{ { - 6}^{2}  +  {8}^{2} }  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{36 + 64}  =  \sqrt{100}  = 10 \: unit \:
