Hi...☺

Here is your answer...✌

Let the points are A(-4,7) and B(-4,10)

Now,
Distance between the points

AB = \sqrt{( - 4 - ( - 4))^{2} + (10 - 7)^{2} } \\ \\ AB = \sqrt{0 + {3}^{2} } = \sqrt{9} = 3
Hence
Distance between given points is 3 units

Thank you ⭐

We have to find out the distance between the two points (-4,7) and (-4,10).

For finding the distance between two points we can use the given formula.

Distance  = \sqrt{ {(x_1 - x_2)}^{2} + {(y_1 - y_2)}^{2} }

This formula is used to find out the distance between two points and that's why it is named as distance formula.

According to question,

x_1 = - 4\\ \\ x_2 = -4 \\ \\ y_1 = 7\\ \\ y_2 = 10

Now,

Distance  = \sqrt{ {(x_1 - x_2)}^{2} + {(y_1 - y_2)}^{2} }

 = \sqrt{ {(-4-(-4))}^{2} + {( 7-10)}^{2} } \\ \\ = \sqrt{ {( -4+4)}^{2} + { (-3)}^{2} } \\ \\ = \sqrt{ {0}^{2} + {3}^{2} } \\ \\ = 3 \: units

So, the distance between the points is 3 units.
