Given , the two points are A(8,-3)and B(0,9)

We known that , the distance between two points is given by

  \sf\large \fbox{D =  \sqrt{ {( x_{2} -   x_{1}) ^{1}  + ( y_{2} -   y_{1}) }^{2}} \:  \:  }

Substitute the known values , we get

 \sf \hookrightarrow D =  \sqrt{ {(0 - 8)}^{2} +  {(9 - ( - 3))}^{2}  }  \\  \\ \sf \hookrightarrow D =  \sqrt{  {(8)}^{2} + {(12)}^{2}   }  \\  \\\sf \hookrightarrow D =  \sqrt{64  + 144}  \\  \\\sf \hookrightarrow D =  \sqrt{ 208}  \\  \\\sf \hookrightarrow  D = 14.2  \:  \: units

Hence, 14.2 units is the distance between two points
