Answer :-

  • The distance between the points P (36, 15) and Q (0, 0) is 39 units.

Given :-

  • Points P (36, 15) and Q (0, 0).

To Find :-

  • Distance between them.

Solution :-

Here

  • x1 = 36
  • x2 = 0
  • y1 = 15
  • y2 = 0

As we know that

Distance formula :-

{(x2 - x1)² + (y2 - y1)²}

According to question :-

Distance PQ :-

⇒ √{(0 - 36)² + (0 - 15)²

⇒ √{-36)² + (-15)²

⇒ √ 1296 + 225

⇒ √ 1521

⇒ 39

Hence, the distance between the points P (36, 15) and Q (0, 0) is 39 units.
