if joining of two points (x1, y1) and (x2,y2) is
√[x2 -x1]² + [y2-y1]²
given (x1, y1) =M(-8, -3) and (x2 ,y2) = N(-2,-5)
MN =√[-2 - (-8)]² + [-5 - (-3)]²
= √(-2+8)² + (-5+3)²
= √6²+(-2)²
= √36+4
=√40
distance betwee M and N = MN =2√10
√[x2 -x1]² + [y2-y1]²
given (x1, y1) =M(-8, -3) and (x2 ,y2) = N(-2,-5)
MN =√[-2 - (-8)]² + [-5 - (-3)]²
= √(-2+8)² + (-5+3)²
