Explanation:

the athlete runs two rounds it means u will have to find the circumference and multiply it by 2

2 \times (2\pi \times r) = 2 \times 2 \times 3.14 \times 14 = 175.8m

Answer = Displacement is a vector quantity whose magnitude is the shortest distance between initial and final positions while the distance is the length of the path followed between the initial and final positions.  After completing two rounds, the object comes back to its initial position, so the displacement is zero. The length of the path followed is two times the circumference of the circular path. So the distance covered by the object in two rounds is

2×2πr

=4×227×14

=176m
