in revolution it covers= 2* \pi *r=2*22/7*77/2=22*11
in 500 revolutions it covers=500*22*11cm=121000cm

Answer:

120890 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Diameter of the wheel = 77 cm

Radius of the wheel = \frac{77}{2}= 38.5 cm

Circumference of Wheel = 2\pi r

                                          = 2 \times 3.14 \times 38.5

                                          = 241.78 cm

Distance traveled in 1 revolution= 241.78 cm

Distance traveled in 500 revolutions= 241.78 \times 500

                                                            = 120890 cm

Hence the distance traveled in 500 revolutions is 120890 cm
