Answer:

Let the two points be A(x,y) & B(X2,y2)

it is said that to find distance from the origin

at origin the points will be (0,0)

so,the distance will be:-

D =  \sqrt{ {(x2 - x1) +  {(y2  - y1)}^{2} } }  =  \sqrt{ ({x - 0) }^{2}  +  {(y - 0)}^{2} }  =  \sqrt{ {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2} }
