The equation of the points from X-axis is in the form :- y = 0

☆The distance of the point P ( 2,5) from X-axis ( abscissa ) is 5 units.☆

the point on x axis will have coordinate (x,0)
so given points are A( 2,5) and B(x,0)
AB = √(2-x)^2+ (5-0)^2
=√(4-4x+x^2)+ 25
=√ 4-4x+x^2+25
= √29-4x+x^2
