The focal length of the convex lens is 25 cm.

When the object is kept at a distance of 75 cm from the lens, the distance is greater than the focal length. Hence, the image would be real and inverted and would be formed on the .other side of the lens.

The distance of the image can be calculated from the lens formula 1v−1u=1f.

⇒v=ufu+f=−75×25−75+25=37.5 cm.
