Given:-

Object placed at a distance = 10 cm

The mirror is Concave Mirror

The Radius of Curvature = 8cm

To Find :-

The Image Location.

Solution:-

We are given with a concave Mirror whoose Radius of curvature = 8 cm.

Since, Radius of Curvature = 8cm

Focal lenght of the mirror = 1/2*R = 1/2*8 = 4 cm

The Image Position =?

Now,

We know that,

 \frac{1}{f}  =  \frac{1}{u}  +  \frac{1}{v}   \\  \\  \frac{1}{ - 4}  =  \frac{1}{ - 10}  +  \frac{1}{v}  \\  \\  \frac{1}{v}  =  \frac { - 1}{10}  \times  -  \frac{2}{10}  =  \frac{20}{3}

Hence 20/3 is the Image distance...
