Solution :
Thus, the distance between the points
(a sinø, a cosø) and the origin (0, 0) be
= √{(a sinø - 0)² + (a cosø- 0)²} units
= √(a² sin²ø + a² cos²ø) units
= √{a² (sin²ø + cos²ø)} units
= √(a²) units [∵ sin²A + cos²A = 1 ]
= a units
