Kinematic equations for uniformly accelerated motion .

\bf\:v=u+at

\bf\:s=ut+\frac{1}{2}at{}^{2}

\bf\:v{}^{2}=u{}^{2}+2as

and \bf\:s_{nth}=u+\frac{a}{2}(2n-1)

Solution :

we have ,initial Velocity , u=5m/s

a= 1.2m/sec²

t = 20sec

By using equation of motion

\sf\:s=ut+\frac{1}{2}at{}^{2}

\implies\sf\:S=5\times20+\dfrac{1}{2}\times1.2\times20\times20

\sf\implies\:S=100+240=340m

Now , By equation of motion

\sf\:v=u+at

\implies\sf\:v=5+1.2\times20

\implies\sf\:v=5+24

\implies\sf\:v=29ms^-1

Therefore,The distance travelled by an object is 340 m and it's final velocity is 29m/s .
