This answer is right one ... upper one is wrong...

d/dx(√x+1/√x)^2

first apply the formula (a+b)^2

then u will get

d/dx(x+1/x+2 )

now different each term

u will get the final answer ...

1-1/x^2 this answer is correct

or

we get the abbreviation for the 2nd step by using the identity (a+b)^2 .This is the answer.Hope this helps.
