volume of cube =  ${a}^{3}$  

ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION  

the volume of the cube is equal to volume of a cuboid of dimensions 36cm, 48cm, 27cm

volume of cuboid = length X breadth X height  

= 36 X 48 X 27

=46656cm cube.  

as,  

volume of cube = volume of cuboid  

= a cube = 46656

= a = cube root of 46656

=a = 36cm

Hence the edge of the cube = 36cm.
