Here, R₁ = R₂ = R₃ = 5Ω
we have to find equivalent resistance about AC .
∵ R₁ and R₃ are connected in series so, equivalent resistance of it is R'
Then, R' = R₁ + R₃ = 5Ω + 5Ω = 10Ω
And now, R' and R₂ are in parallel combination. So, final equivalent resistance is Req. ∴ 1/Req = 1/R' + 1/R₂ = 1/10Ω + 1/5Ω = 3/10Ω
Req = 10/3 Ω
Current = V/Req
Here, v = 3v and Req = 10/3 Ω
∴ current = 3/(10/3) = 9/10 = 0.9A
