From the figure we can see that the 2 resistors are connected in series and the other is in parallel with the others two.

∴ For Series,

Rs = 30 + 30 = 60 Ω

For Parallel,

1/Rp = 1/Rs + 1/R

⇒ 1/Rp = 1/60 + 1/30

∴ 1/Rp = 3/60

⇒ Rp = 20 Ω

Now, Potential = 2 V

Using the Formula,

V = I × Rp

⇒ 2 = I × 20

⇒ I = 2/20

∴ I = 0.1 A


Hence, the current flowing through the conductor is 0.1 A.
