Find the eleventh term from the last term (towards the first term) of the AP:10,7,4....,-62.

Let, a↓n = -62

a = 10

d = -3

Now, a↓n = a +(n-1) d

or, -62 = 10+(n-1) (-3)

or, -72 = (-3)(n-1)

or, n = 25

11th term from last = (25-11)th term from beginning = 14th term from beginning

a↓14 = a+13d = 10+13×(-3)

= 10-39 = -29

Hence, 11th term from the last is -29.
