Given:

  • The mass of the object is 13 kg.
  • The height of the object is 5 metre.
  • The gravity of the object is 9.8 ms².

Need to find:

  • The energy possessed by the object ?

Solution:

As we know that,

Potential Energy = Mass × Gravity × Height

Putting the values,

➜Potential Energy = 13 × 9.8 × 5

➜Potential Energy = 127.4 × 5

➜Potential Energy = 637

Therefore, The energy possessed by the object is 637 joules.
