Slope of the parallel lines is same.
Slope of given line ,m =-2 (by comparing with the y =mx +c form)
Line passes through the point (2,5).
General form of a line passing through point (x1,y1) is:
(y- y1) = m (x -x1)
Now m = -2
x1= 2 and y1 = 5 (given pt(2,5))
So,
(y - 5) = -2 *( x - 2)
y = -2x + 4 + 5
y = -2x + 9 ans
